About The Author

Hi, I’m pamela folli scholl, veteran mother, artist and writer. I reside, with my husband, in Sunset Hills, MO. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter. I follow my own advice—most of the time.
I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture and Drawing from Fontbonne University, St. Louis, Missouri. I learned to really “see” the world in a wonderful way during my time there. I carry that knowledge with me to this day.
I enjoy my family, friends, yoga, all kinds of tea, my career, New York City, dark chocolate, riding in a convertible (top down of course), reading, cooking (and eating), creating and simply being mom.
Simply Mom—advice from someone who loves you is a collection of pieces of advice I have shared with my daughters over the years. I have set out to help parents and daughters rediscover the little things in life with my new book. The book is lively, insightful, and funny. It will provoke a lot of conversation. Even more, Simply Mom will touch the hearts of its readers, make them laugh (maybe cry) and encourage real communication with others and more importantly with themselves.
Raising two daughters is an adventure and journey through some difficult times, but I found that a good sense of humor is always a welcome companion. The advice contained in my book is not about fashion tips or cosmetic secrets. It is more about finding the person within, enjoying the simplicities of life, balancing the tough times with an awareness of the bigger picture and being the spark in your relationships.
I hope you enjoy Simply Mom as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
